Samsung A867 Eternity

The Samsung A867 Eternity is a smart mobile TV released soon to hit AT&T. The longish design of the A867 Eternity is quite comfortable for one-handed operation. While having a generous 3.2 inches, 240 x 400 pixels touchscreen display is always great for Web surfing of GPS navigation.

Coming with integrated Mobile TV functionality thanks to the in built MediaFLO, the widescreen is also ideal for watching movies on the go.

Adding to the 200MB internal memory is a built in microSD slot which can support up to the largest 8GB cards.
Also onboard are useful features such as a GPS, Bluetooth with A2DP and a 3.2 MP camera.
However, sadly, the A867 does not support WLAN, meaning that you might not be able to view Youtube videos wirelessly.

Besides, battery life is also what we concern on. The Li-Ion 1330 mAh battery offers short 250 hours standby time and 5 hours talktime.

Whichever way you look at it, the Eternity is a truely impressive handset thanks to the touchscreen interface and the ease of use of the onboard software. AT&T offers the smartphone under a nice plan- $150 based

Samsung t819 hits T-Mobile with 1700Mhz 3G

Following on the FCC’s green-lighting of the Samsung t819 3G slider last month, Samsung and T-Mobile have made the Samsung t819 officially official for T-Mobile’s US subscriber-base. Now, we’re calling this Samsung t819 a ‘3G slider’ because (1) it’s a slider and (2) it supports T-Mobile USA’s own special flavor of 3G spectrum (the 1700Mhz band, as we saw in the FCC-filing). Interestingly, T-Mobile isn’t marketing this thing as a 3G handset, instead claiming that the quad-band GSM radio maxes out with EDGE data speeds.

With a 1.3 megapixel camera, stereo Bluetooth, microSD card slot, myFaves support, and a 220 x 176 display, theSamsung t819 is firmly planted in T-Mobile’s mid-range lineup.

While the Samsung t819 is officially an EDGE-only jobby, we’ve got a sneaking suspicion that the handset will be rocking out on T-Mobile’s 3G network - once it goes live, that is. Grab your own Samsung t819 unnofficial 3G slider on T-Mobile website or at retail stores. ‘Coffee Brown’ seems to be T-Mo’s color of choice for now.

Samsung M8800 Pixon

The Samsung M8800 Pixon ("pics on") was officially unveiled today, rocking out with its 8 megapixel autofocus camera. This shooter also sports anti-shake technology, face and smile detection, a dual-LED flash, and a slough of other imaging enhancements. For those that prefer their pictures moving, the Pixon can
also record 30fps video at 720x480 resolution as well as 120fps slow-motion video at 320x240 resolution. The large 3.2" touchscreen display should also add to an overall great photo-taking experience.

The Samsung M8800 Pixon is well connected, with quad-band GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) support and 2100MHz 3G HSDPA data support for super-fast downloads. The Pixon measures 107.9mm x 54.6mm x 13.8mm (4.2" x 2.1" x .5") in size and includes an accelerometer, which should make perusing through your
photos a pleasant experience.

Samsung i900 Omina

Samsung Electronics South Korea released on early Monday preview details on the company's new smartphone, before the mania of Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference begins in California.

The Samsung Omnia (SGH-i900) is similar in looks and function to the Samsung Instinct (SPH-M800), but with a few more bells and whistles.

For starters, it sounds like it has a very promising camera. With five megapixels and anti-shake technology, this may be the first camera on a phone that produces pictures you would actual think of printing, not just
posting to Facebook. This is an improvement over the 2-megapixel cameras on both the first-generation iPhone and on the Samsung Instinct. The touch-screen smartphone, which runs on Windows Mobile 6.1 and features Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Opera 9.5 as its Web browser, will also have Wi-Fi. That's something the Instinct also lacks.Like the Instinct, the Omnia has visual voice mail, 3G capability, Bluetooth, an FM radio, and GPS functionality. The smartphone, of course, also doubles as a music player and, with 16GB, will be
able to hold up to 4,000 songs or 100 minutes of video, according to Samsung.

More details on the smartphone's specs will follow when the Omnia (SGH-i900) is officially unveiled on June 17 at Communicasia, the 2008 Singapore Expo. The Omnia (SGH-i900) will become available in Southeast Asia first and then be launched to other markets over the second half of 2008, according to Samsung.
