Sony Ericsson PXi For Lefties

Bence Bogar must be a leftie because his SE PXi concept is a product specifically created for all lefties tho it’s flexible enough for righties too. Obviously following the current direction of SE’s P series of smart phones, the PXi is powerful while staying somewhat slim and ergonomic. The body is magnesium framing a big 3.3 inch touch screen. The screen rotates automatically ala iPhone and is optimized for both finger and stylus input. The right side of the unit houses a jogdial and a secondary touch screen which adapts to whatever app is currently open. The smart phone also sports not 1 but 2 card slots for all memory horse. Business functions aside, the PXi is equipped with stereo speakers and a Cyber shot class 5 mega pixel camera.

I don’t know much about lefties but if the PXi was created with them in mind, isn’t the jogdial on the wrong side? I’m just saying.

Eco Sensor Concept

Here is Nokia Research Center?s new cellphone: the Eco Sensor, a shiny concept which includes the phone itself and a ?wearable sensors? that ?monitor your health, environment and local weather? to ?increase your global environmental awareness? with technologies like Near Field Communication and Radio Frequency Identification. Well, whatever rocks your world, you treehugging hippies you. They mention motion detection, solar cells and heart-rate monitor, but all I can see is shiny, drooltastic and lickable. Sadly, while the Eco Sensor pushes all our eco buttons, it's only a concept -- which means it's likely to stay in the realms of vapourware for now. We'll have more as we hear it.

    Nokia N 95

The omnipresent N95 spawned a successor and now the question is how much better can it get. Nokia N95 8GB sure has good genes but there still seems to be enough room for improvement. At first glance, Nokia has heeded user complaints with the original and addressed them properly. However, we are yet to see if the enhancements are enough to make the N95 8GB the definitive upgrade from the previous model or is it about laurel-resting mostly.
